    The Learning Resource Centre serves as an intellectual gathering place that fosters learning, educational, research and personal fulfillment; also providing limited use of the facilities to members of the wider community as appropriate. Our dedicated staff encourages you to take full advantage of the services and resources we offer.

    The Library at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College is one of a few authorized test centers in the Caribbean region for Kryterion, Pearson Vue and Prometric.

Welcome to the Library at the H. Lavity Stoutt Community College Learning Resource Centre. Our mission is to acquire, maintain and provide access to a well organized collection of books, periodicals, audiovisual and electronic materials in an effort to meet the learning, informational and research needs of students and to ensure their academic success and instructional, informational and research needs of Faculty and Staff.

The Learning Resource Centre continues to acquire high quality and accessible resources to meet the demands of our students, faculty and staff. We are delighted to announce that you can now gain access to thousands of electronic books through our website’s Ebsco Host database. Move at your own pace, in your own space…our resources will be waiting for you to explore.

 

We are currently in the process of expanding our audiovisual collection to include music of all genres from various countries. This new music collection will also feature a special collection of music by Virgin Islanders and/or about the Virgin Islands. If you would like donate music to our collection please contact us.
