Commemorative Board Meeting - The Board of Governors at HLSCC will hold a commemorative meeting on Wednesday 10 March at 10:00 a.m. at the Paraquita Bay Auditorium as part of the College’s 20th anniversary activities. All are invited.
Presidential Investiture - HLSCC will host an investiture ceremony for the College’s fourth President, Dr. Karl Dawson, on Thursday 11 March at 3:00 p.m. under the Tent on the lawns of the Paraquita Bay Campus. Residents on Virgin Gorda who will be attending are advised that Speedy’s Ferry will leave the dock at 1:30 p.m. for Trellis Bay, followed by ground transportation to the Paraquita Bay Campus. Return to Virgin Gorda has also been arranged after the ceremony. The public is invited.
Jobs Expo - HLSCC, in collaboration with several local partners, will host a Jobs Expo from Saturday 20 March to Sunday 21 March at the Paraquita Bay Campus. For more information, or to purchase booths, please call Director of Centres and Institutes, Alegra Jennings, 852-7198.
Mediation Training - HLSCC will be offering the Mediator Certification Course from 18-24 March in collaboration with the United States-based Mediation Training Institute. The cost will be $1,800 per person and main presenter will be Dr. Nancy Love, MTI’s Senior Mediation Instructor.
